To shape tomorrow, look to the past


June 20, 2011: Acknowledging that humanities studies in higher education have come to be viewed by many students as secondary to the complex of courses designed to provide the necessary tools for entering a career, the diminishment of the humanities is a backward step, says Hebrew University President Prof. Menahem Ben-Sasson in an article marking the opening of the Presidential Conference ‘Facing Tomorrow’.
