Hebrew U. scholarship student joins Jerusalem tent protesters


10 August 2011: Among the Hebrew University students taking part in the tent protest in Jerusalem is 25-year-old Sharon Ehrlich, who is studying political science and Latin American studies. In an interview on Israel’s Channel 2 evening news, Ehrlich describes how she makes ends meet thanks to her scholarships and part-time job at the University.

Video: Mechina student at Rothberg International School defies personal tragedy to realize dream

American-born Ben Nouriel realized his dream of making aliyah straight after high school. Following three years of military service, he enrolled in the Mechina preparatory program at the Hebrew University's Rothberg International School. Defying family tragedy and a serious accident, he excelled in his courses and is now planning a career in medicine.
