January 21, 2016, A recent study by the Hebrew University and the Israel Export and International Cooperation Institute Economic Unit was featured in Israeli daily economic newspaper Globes. The study concluded that Israeli produce exports could expand by focusing on "superfoods." These "superfoods" are nutritionally dense foods that allow their eaters to receive more nutritional value for fewer bites.
The study showed that markets in both Europe and Asia are potentially interested in buying fresh Israeli "super" produce in bulk.
